FILMMAKER
Hello! I am Gemma Ohlemacher, a Seattle based writer and visual storyteller. I am a soon-to-be graduate of the Seattle Film Institute with a passion for taking people on emotional journies through film. I believe film is therapy we do alone and I hope to help people grow through the art of film.

My films
Finding Quiet is a film I made when I was given the opportunity to shoot with a Super 8 camera. The old camera was very challenging to work with but I love the final product.
Women at the Seattle Film institute
is another project from my
documentary class. I am really proud of
how we represented our school.
Tinyman is one of the first films I made in school. It was for a post-production class so we could learn how to use a green screen. It is pretty cheesy but I love how fun it is and I enjoyed making it.
Ande Feber and the Seattle Aquarium is a short film I made for a documentaries class. It features an educator from the Seattle Aquarium sharing what her and the Seattle Aquarium do to help the community.
Cupcake: A Short is about the joys of
baking for friends. This one is close to my heart because I made it with friends so the emotion behind it is very genuine.
